spot on loan are they legal in Maine

Has anyone used this company before? I'm in Maine and took out a loan for $300 with them. I have already paid back $393 and they still say I owe $210? is this legal?


since no pdl is legal in ME you not only don't owe spot on,but you overpaid.if you haven't closed your account do so.then go to the sticky titled(dealing with illegal lenders).it has all the info including template letters.just know you owe them nothing.

Payday lending is prohibited in Maine. That???s why all payday lenders in this state are illegal. Illegal payday lenders don???t have any right to take any legal action against you. As they are illegal, so you are required to pay only the principal amount. You need not to pay any interest and fees.
