I have been trying to make pymt arrangements with this company for the last year and a half. They would not take any of my offers. Now they have got a court order and judgement against me to levy my pay checks. They are taking over a third of my pay each pay day. How do you stop them? This is not right !!!!! Any help????

Once a garnishment has been issued there is nothing you can do unless they did something incorrectly (i.e. not serving the papers to you, etc.). Did you go to court for the hearing? I worked out a settlement with them pretty easily.
You have to respond to these people before it gets to court. Were your offers to settle reasonable? My debt was $6,000 (a little over) and I only pay $140/month. This is a several year agreement and they froze my interest rate at 0. For me that is reasonable. Once a judge has ruled you have no leg to stand on, especially if you didn't even show up at the hearing.
