SOAPLADY here is the skinny.the OP got a letter from p.scott lowry about an alleged debt.at the time it wasn't on their CR.the OP sent a DV letter ceritified mail return receipt.p.scott lowry responds to the DV by reporting on their credit after the DV lette was received.that is considered collection activity.an FDCPA violation if there ever was one.can't call up their original thread,but i think it was titled 92 days later,but p.scott lowry did violate the FDCPA by posting on their CR after the DV letter was received.
