Someone will be along to help, but in the meantime, please check the payday loan laws for your State at the head of this forum.
here is the info
no pdl is legal in NJ especially the ones you listed.they didn't file squat, but since they must sue in your town, county, village,or bourough you can easily check your court clerk website using your name as the defendent.when you see nothing there, and since you closed your account file AG,AND FTC complaints against all three lenders.btw since all are illegal you only owe the principle and anything debited gets deducted from that so you don't even owe the original principle.

the guy on the phone said somthing about information being gathered and being sent to california for review, and what do you mean by the companies arnt legal? And what do you suggest I do? What do I have to be worried about if anything
okay let me explain
treat everything a collector on these says as a lie.they must take any action in NJ and in your town, county, village,or bourough.the fact he stated california is a joke.btw your pdl laws state prohibited meaning no pdl is legal, especially internet ones.file a police report, and AG complaint.then ignore whoever this is.
Lending of payday loan is considered prohibited in the State of
Lending of payday loan is considered prohibited in the State of New Jersey. That???s why all the pdl lenders in your state are illegal. As they are not licensed, so you will have to pay only the principal amount. Illegal payday lenders don???t have any right to take any legal action against you. Non-payment of debt is not a criminal offense. So they can???t send you to jail for this reason. If you fail to repay the debt, then the lenders may file a lawsuit against you. Once the court issues a judgment against you, then the lenders can garnish your wages. So, it will be better to repay the debt in full. If you are in a financial crisis and can???t repay the debt in full, then you may negotiate with your lenders. You may try to arrange a better repayment plan with them. If it seems difficult to negotiate yourself, then you may get help from a reliable debt relief company.
They can't do anything
to you if payday lending is illegal in your state. The contracts are null and void. No court will take them. Write your AG.
