I live in Texas... and being sued by Allen Adkins (who purchased my Citi bank debt) I have a debt collector attorney working on it for me but think my attorney is getting some sort of kickback from Allen or Citi. Wondered if anyone else had experienced something similar? If so what to do about it?

Your right it was placed with Allen Adkins. Citi may not be the one giving the kickback.. I was just curious to see if anyone else had suspicions of the same thing.

While his assertiveness in advocating his position may be unpleasant, it is not unethical. In the end, he must do what you instruct, as long as it is legal. He works for you.
Bringing a complaint of attorney malpractice is serious. I would not pursue such a complaint based on a suspicion. Maybe a new attorney?
