My husband and I had 3 loans out from three different loan companies for quite sometime, had no problems paying them. My husband passed away March 29th of this year. I am now living on my Social Security Disability I have

Hi and welcome!
First off, my condolences for the loss of your husband. I am sorry for your loss. With that being said, I think what we need to find out is whether Missouri is a Community Property state? This would mean that his income is your income and vice-versa. This would explain why they put his income down when you took out the loans.
Did you both sign the paperwork and are these PD Loans? I think you could also make a case if you didn't sign anything that they shouldn't go after you for them. I would also have a copy of his death certificate handy the next time they contact you for payment. This would prove that your husband is deceased.
I think the only way this other woman could've known about your other loan is by pulling your credit report, which would have that information on it. You are actually entitled to one free credit report a year, and this would tell you who is pulling your credit report. I would recommend you doing this.

Thank you
Missouri is not a community property. And I signed papers for my loans yes, and they know he is dead they all have his death cert. and the obit that ran in the paper.
As far as her looking at my credit report for information, that debt is still in my deceased husbands name, not mine, and I was not tied to that one at all. There is nothing saying I'm paying it, I won't sign anything with them changing it into my name. So for her to know my husbands debt is being paid she had to talk to someone in the know about my debt with them and my debt with this other company. Thank you
