Call from 305-433-8368 left message

All I could find out about the number 305-433-8368 is that it came from Big Pine, Florida. Hopefully someone else in the forum can come up with more info for you.

I assume you received calls from both the numbers for the same issue, right? You can contact the company mentioned by brat and inquire for the purpose of their call. Keep us posted on this matter.

I received the same call. The called my house @ 7:00 am and left a message. Called my work @ 7:10am and spoke to someone and told them It was in my best interest to call them back said they were from unitd federal bank and also at the same time called my direct line at work at left the same message there. All within 15 minutes. They just dont known when to quit!

They are not legally allowed to call between the hours of 9pm-8am. I would file a complaint against them for calling before 8am.

I got a live body, (indian accent) stated that he was reception for a large building with a lot of offices... This may be true, for some offices have a central reception when the primary tenants are small offices who do not want the overhead of their own...sorry i cant be of more help

They are not allowed to disclose this information to a third party like that. File a complaint with the FTC as suggested by brat.

I received a call from a number that was very similar which was 305-433-8364 claiming that they were United Federal Bank. These collectors had extremely heavy and thick accents and very rude on top of that. They would not disclose their mailing address or any other infomation. I tried using various online services to locate a company listing to no avail. I have already reported this company telephone number to the BBB, FTC, AG and the badbusiness bureau.

I adressed this in the Misc Offshoring thread. Unfortunately we have here some very inexperienced foreign workers who just do not understand debt collection procedures in this country.

Probably quit a kick for them to harass an American where they work. I would track down the US company that offshored to them and hold them responsible.

this is prelitigations and the number must be outsourced to an Indian call center.

Everything you all are saying is well received information, but in the mean time, these people are going to cost my job. My lawyer is working on something, but how can you send a letter, summons or anything when you dont have a name or address? I am going to try some of the suggestions here on my own, along with whatever my attorney is doing.

407-433-8364. This company refuses to tell me who they are or how I have come to owe them money. They continue to call and tell me if I don't call them back within a set time period I will be arrested. I answered the call today and told them that I have filed bankruptcy. They called back and said it didn't matter what I filed that I would be arrested. This is obviously a call center in India based on the accent with the man identifying himself as different names each time he calls. I am tired of being threatened - especially since I filed chapter 13 bankruptcy to stop the harassment! I have filed a complaint with the FTC and I am filing a motion with the bankruptcy court. I am sick and tired of these people getting away with this stuff. I am saving the messages to take with me to the court as well - thank goodness for answering machines.

I received a call at my place of employment at 8:30am from (305) 433-8368 stating I was doing illegal activity and that I needed to return the phone call ASAP or I would go to jail. After reading the other posting on this number and that they have been reported I will give them a dose of their medicine for trying to get my social security and information from me. Please Beware of these people. I also received the call from a nasty non speaking indian women. I have done nothing but harass them back and now they hang up on me, I got a indian guy who told me he could not give me information on his company if I did not give him my information, I stated but you called me. He then laughed and said HA! HA! HA! do you think we are not smarter than you americans. BEWARE Do not give any information out it what they say does not pertain to you regardless.

That is a blatant threat, which is illegal under federal laws. If you have that message on tape, please save it and let your state attorney generals office hear it. You could be entitled to money for damages for that threat.

Any threat of arrest or impersonating a police or lawyer is illegal. File an online complaint ASAP for those threats, to your state attorney generals office.

Do you think that the company who the debt was originated is liable at all for these harassing phone calls? SJM Marketing is the original loan company, and they e-mailed me stating that they turned the debt over to UnitedPayServices, 305-433-8368. These harassing phone calls are coming at the rate of 10 per hour at work, and the have conacted my boss and talked to the receptionist. Should I contact SJM to "call off the dogs", and do I have a legal action against them?

The original creditor can be held liable if they are notified of the collection tactics and they retain that collection company.
