thank you for your post -the letter from amex says that they transferred the acct to nco for collections -- nco says they have been requested by american express to assist them in the collection --
so I guess its not sold -- maybe nco is amex inside collections? thought it was strange it was only 2 months past due

You owe a lot of $$$...they can send you to collections anytime you are late or past due.

I hear that sometimes when you send a debt validation letter to nco they go straight to court for a judgement
