I am being sued by Bowman, Heintz, Boscia & Vician for a Dell account. The letter from the court states I have 20 days to submit my reply; no court date. I will send my reply via certified letter to Bowman, Heintz, Boscia & Vician. I am hoping to negotiate. What is the typical percentage most places will accept? Is there any standard of offering to pay 70% and then consider the accout paid in full? At this point I don't feel I have anything to lose by negotiating.
Check your rules for civil procedure...you probably need to send
Check your rules for civil procedure...you probably need to send a response to the court as well.
Try negotiating....how old is the account? Date of last payment? What state are you in?
Your credit will report as settled in full, not paid in full.
