I apologize if this is in the wrong forum. On 6/27 I received a emailed Dunning letter from this office about a CashNet USA account. I know those are a payday loan company, but I don't remember if I had an account with them or not. I was in big trouble in 2008 with these companies.
Well, I didn't really get it until 7/19 because I don't check this account too much. I just use it for online stuff and hadn't really done anything online in a while. (So when I get junk mail it won't go to my main account)
On 7/19 I replied to the email with a debt verification. I am dumb and didn't send another copy by certified mail. I figured if they were content with emailing me this letter, they would be OK with receiving a reply via email.
I know, dumb.
So today I get a fax at work for an employment verification by these law offices.
What is going on? Should I send another debt verification with the original email date attached via certified mail now?

Also, I've never once received a phone call from these people.

A wage revocation letter basically states "i heareby revoke any and all wage assignments I may have agreed to. Date and sign it. Give a copy to your payroll department.

Remind them that you send them a DV on such and such a date. Email, fax it and send a copy via certified mail, return receipt request.

The Law office is in New York....since they do not have a california presence there is not much they can do to you.
