Can you give me some insight on how they can collect when you have already paid them and you have proof through your bank records. Melissa calls me everyday asking for something different and saying now that I owe over 1000.00 since they have not rec'd that 300 from me.....UNREAL

send a letter requesting complete and thorough documentation of you account. This should include itemization of principal amount, payments received, fees charged, interest charged (and how calculated). Make sure you send the request certified. Very explicitly in the letter you need to state that you have paid the account in full. Include copies of documentation of payment(s).

Dawnie, did you pay the account to Christine only or some other agency was collecting money from you on their behalf? If you have records to prove that money has been sent to your debt account, there is nothing on which you need to worry. Ask the company to send you papers regarding this account so that you can review it.
