Calls from a Collection Agency

I've got a question and I don't know where else to turn.
Today at work a collection agency called me 8 times in a period of four hours. They keep saying they're some kind of legal company and have a legal matter to discuss with me. Out of the 8 times the guy was told 4 times to not call back because it was a place of employment but he continued to call even after being told that.
My boss finally talked to him and told him I would call him after I get off work at 9 pm. Not even an hour later he called me back and said that he didn't believe I would call him so he called me back to talk to me since I would avoid him.
I don't know what to do and I thought if they were told to not call back they shouldn't be allowed to call back and that it was illegal to do so. Am I wrong?
The number that he is calling from is 804-454-7387
I google the number and it comes up as cashadvance.com or something like that which states they don't call people to collect on things but this guy is threatening legal charges against me. What should I do?
I'm going to lose my job if he keeps calling me at work.

If you read my post just before your's I am in the same boat. I am afraid I will loose my job too. If you get a chance, read the other post's previous to our's for the past month...maybe that will give you insight, in the mean time, what I am going to do is file a police report so I can show my employer what I have done to try and stop this harrassment.
