I've been struggling with several PDLs since Christmas of last year. At first it was to get over a hump, then it was to pay off another PDL, then it was to pay off THAT PDL, to turn around and renew the first one I had paid off because I was in the hole. I lowered my expenses dramatically just to make ends meet but it all caught up to me and I didn't know how I was going to feed my kids the next two weeks, paying the PDLs, and my bills I'm already broke after getting paid.

So today I went to the bank and did ACH reversals on all the PDLs that hit when I got paid on Friday, and also signed stop orders for any future ACHs from those companies. Since so many people tend to ask, I have PDLs through the following companies:

Integrity
Discount Advances
OneClickCash

I sent emails to all three companies telling them I was done (using the suggestions found on this site).

I did not cancel my bank account because I have had it forever, and I have legitimate ACH's that I need to continue, the bank assured me they would make sure no more ACH's would come through from those three companies.

I am going to update this thread as things progress, so if anyone else out there is like me they can know what to expect. It's ridiculous to pay these people 2x over for these loans and continue to struggle paying.

Sorry to tell you but your ACH blocks won't work forever (or even for long).

These companies operate under multiple DBAs. They will hit your account using every name they have until they are able to get at your money. They will hit the account multiple times in one day using various amounts. If all ACH attempts are unsuccessful, they will also put through a paper check.

They ONLY way your account will be safe again is if you have your bank assign a new account number. They can keep your "old" account and simply assign you a new number due to the fraudulent activity.

Talk to an RM at your bank.

They just did the returns on them today, so tomorrow morning I'm going to close the account and open a new one. I asked the bank if they could stop all ACH's on my account and they said no. Since the bank charges $25 for every reversal, they'll put me under if they keep trying with different business names.

Did you tell your bank that you have been a victim of fraud! That sounds crazy that they can't help you! They need to put a hard block on your account where only deposits can go in and nothing can come out unless you go to the bank in person! I believe there is more they can do who is you bank? My bank actually went above and beyond to help me!
