I put myself in this position. As stated - i want to pay back the principal, and a fair interest- I am not looking to rip-off- or get out of not paying them back fairly. Does anyone have any experience with this? to deal with them? the harassment? the laws? setting up a livable payment plan- feedback requested

You can get information from the Florida Office of Financial Regulation in order to know whether or not pdl companies are licensed in your state. Their contact detail is as follows:
# Division of Securities and Finance, 200 E. Gaines Street Tallahassee FL 32399
# Phone - (850) 410-9805
# Fax - (850) 410-9748
If you find that the lenders are licensed in your state, then you will be accountable for both the principal and interest. You can go for payday loan debt consolidation if you are in a financial crisis to payback your debts in full. You can get rid of the debts by paying them only the principal amount if you find that the lenders are not licensed in your state. You can glance through the following link to know about Florida???s pdl laws:

you can also google the Florida Office of Finacial Regulation and click on verify a license. Choose the Money Services Businesses section and search each lender by name. Chances are that since you are paying rollover fees on these loans none are legal as rollovers are not allowed under FL law but I cannot say this for certian without the names of your lenders. I can tell you that having gone through this process myself you are going to find that all these places can do is threaten you to try and get you to pay what they know they cannot collect.
