Chase still calling after 1 1/2 years since defaulted

I stop paying my Chase card 1 1/2 years ago when I became unemployed. Im still unemployed but my question is, is it usual for a creditor to keep calling me for 1 1/2 years? I had defaulted on another card and now a collection agency calls me regarding that but Chase is still calling me. I had offered them a settlement about 1 year ago and they refused it and so since then I have had no contact with them. Does this sound normal for them to do? Thanks

Yes, they can call you for collecting the debt. You can contact with them and again try to negotiate with them. If they don???t agree to negotiate with you, then you may get help from a reputable debt relief company. This company then works out with your creditor on your behalf.

Chase

It's rare for Chase to keep accounts in-house for 18 months, but it does happen. Usually, the account charges off after 180 days of delinquency, and typically stays in-house anywhere from 1 to 90 days. After that it is typically assigned to a collection agency or law firm. But, as stated, occasionally, these accounts do remain in-house. Your best course of action depends on what your intentions are.
