I have all the info I need to send my letters to the illegal loan companies, but I am so nervous that without me being able to close my account that they will hit my account for more than the minimum due and that will be financially devastating to me.

Would a letter to just ask them to not withdrawel any funds and then wait and see if they stop the withdrawels and then send the you are illegal letter to them work? I would rather if they were going to ignore my requests that they only try to take the minimum rather than all they think I owe them.

I did this for Cash Call and they did stop withdrawing funds immediately...but they may be different that them.

Also, I found out today that I have paid cash call $4625 on a $2600 loan...while they are not legal in Oregon, my loan agreement says my loan was underwritten and funded by First Bank of Delaware...is there anything that can be done with that?

All my direct deposits are set up as well as automatic withdrawels...I can't close it until my direct deposits can be changed over to a new account without causing a delay to getting paid.

Sounds like if they are going to get around to get their $ one way or another the best thing to do is either suck it up and try to pay them off as quickly as possible, or shoot for debt consolidation to negotiate.
