A copy of my email conversation with Amanda at DJR aka River Elk:
Amanda,
I am in receipt of your email with attachment.
I am aware of the laws, rules and regulations and ALL companies must be licensed, including internet companies. Your company provided a service to me knowing full well that is illegal to do so. Therefore, I am seeking a refund of the money I grossly overpaid you and will be re-filing my complaint with my attorney general's office. The loan amount was $390, you took $1,075 out of my account since April, which means you owe me a refund of $685.00. Thank you.

Amanda's Response:
I can certainly turn in your account for a refund from the lender, however please be aware that you completed this application and submitted it to the lender. You also called in 5 days after the deposit asking for the funds to be reversed, the lender advised you a bank statement was necessary to reverse the funds and you chose to keep the funds. You also called in on 6/3, 6/29, 9/12 and 9/13/2011 asking about your account, the balance and terms so you were fully aware on how to pay back the funds and you chose not to. Again, I can certainly turn in your account for a refund however the lender takes everything on your account into consideration. It will take 3-5 business days for the lender to respond with their decision.

....and finally my last response to her:
Amanda,
I made a note of when and why I phoned your company. The june calls were because I couldn't understand how it was that none of the payments I made from april to june did not go towards the principle of the loan, all payments went to fees and the september calls were for the same reasons, as I had checked my bank account and added up the payments and thought something must be wrong because that was a lot of money. I then consulted with an attorney and did research on my own and found out why. Back in june I was not aware that your company did not have a license to operate in my state and you were in fact illegal. When I did become aware of that fact, I not only called to find out the status of my loan but how much was paid to date. I asked for an accounting which your company would not provide. Please note that all these email conversations will be forwarded with my complaint should I not receive a refund. Thank you.
Lets see what happens now. Thank you everyone who helped me with this. Im still waiting to hear from two companies, OneClick and AdvanceMe. I sent my emails out this past Friday, so I guess I'll have to wait and see.
