Repossession on Credit Report
Date: Sat, 09/24/2011 - 08:24
Ok - I just signed up with Lexington Law after a friend referred me to them to get my credit history straightened out a little.
I have a repossession on all 3 reports dating back to 2008 that is from 5th 3rd Bank. They took my car, I went up to the bank and paid it off (I was young and dumb...just would be late on payments even if I had the money) and I got the car back.
My question is...am I wasting my time and money with Lexington Law because I actually paid it off and Fifth Third didn't have to go through a credit agency? Is there a chance that doing a little digging and pushing up on people's time and energy, they could get it off of my report?
Depending on the responses, I will chose to cancel my membership with LL in the next 5 days if I my chances are very slim.
Thanks Guys
