your payroll person should be fired on the spot as NC is non-garnishment for debts like this.so no court order would be issued.there response is ignorant to say the least.follow SOAPLADY'S advice and give them the revocation letter along with the pdl laws,and the fact the NC is non-garnishment.

Your state's Attorney General can help you with this matter. Check out their website and call them, as suggested, to tell them about this lender who's threatening to garnish your wages.
Also, the FTC has some pretty specific regulations regarding voluntary wage assignments. You may also want to share this with your HR dept.

Everest Cash Advance is just blowing smoke I had them call me at work and tell me the same crap. She went as far as to yell to someone to bring her a wage garnishment to her I been revoked all of everything so after I cussed her out Everest sent my accoutn to a collection agency they called me threatening me and I filed a complaint against them they closed my account. Please look through my previous posts I posted on them and the collection agency they use.
Paul gave me some great advice on how to handle them I haven't heard anything else from them!
