Hi all... quick question, I sent all my letters out two weeks ago to DJR, OneClickCash and AdvanceMeToday.com... DJR responded...OneClick and AdvanceMe never responded. Curious, I signed on to both accounts today, Oneclick removed my information completely and with AdvanceMeToday where it says loan status it says "cooldown". Has anyone ever heard of that or have any idea what that means? Thanks!

It's typical for them to remove your info or mark your account closed or something of that nature.

Generally a "cooldown or cooling off" period is the amount of time required, either by the lender or by state law, that a person must wait in between loans.

Not sure why they would have marked your status that way but, the important things are, is your account safe? And, have you notified your employer or wage assignment revocation?

I closed my checking account and opened another one with the same bank. I called my payroll dept and she said unless they get my new bank info (which im hoping they dont!) then I shouldnt have anything to worry about. Not sure how that whole revoke wage works. I dont know whether to be weary of that or not and if they will try a wage garnishment. I told payroll that at the time i took it out, i wasnt aware they were illegal in the state of NY. I really dont know why they posted that either, not sure if it means that its paid off or not, or if they will come after me later down the road. What should I do now, if anything?
