Are payday loans legal in California?I have a payday loan with CashYes . I originally borrowed 400.00 and have already paid 590.00. They want another 380.00

pdl's are legal in CA,but cash yes is not legal in CA.therefore you have overpaid.if you haven't closed your account do so,and file AG complaints against cash yes.if you didn't close the account do so asap as again you overpaid and not only don't owe them.they owe you a refund of the amount over principle you paid.

Since Cash Yes is not licensed to operate in CA, so you can get rid of the debt by paying them only the principal amount. Illegal lender won???t be able to take any legal action against you. As you have overpaid them, then ask them for the refund. Close your bank account asap so that they can???t debit money from your account in future.
