I need some real info here. I getting a little confused. When I first posted on here about my payday loans everyone responded to me to close my bank account, write the ACH revoke letters and to just pay the principal. I tried to close my bank account but the bank insists that I made an agreement with the payday loan companies and that I must pay. I then contacted my AG, and they said they would send me a form to fill out but basically I would have to wait to do anything with my bank. When I spoke to someone at the AG's office, He said that all payday loans are illegal if the interest rate is over 30 percent. That's what I am confused about. Two of my payday loans are over 30 percent but others I don't think are. Here are my loans

United Cash $500, I have to pay back I think 590.
ZipLine $200 and I have to pay back $238
Magnum for 780 and I have to pay back $1300
Plain Green for 700 and I have to pay back 1800!

My first time paying on these loans was this past Friday and since my account is not fully closed I know that these payments were taken out but there is no money in there so I'm not sure if my bank will return them or demand that I pay the bank. This is so F-up, excuse my language. I have gotten myself into the worst thing ever! I'm not sure how to get out, I have no extra money this week to put toward any payment and I get paid every two weeks, so I'll have to wait to pay any kind of money either to the bank or the payday loans for two weeks and even then I will probably only be able to send each one 50 dollars. I just don't know what the heck to do.

You can also file a complaint with the Banking and Insurance Department because it isyour account and your money you do have rights. They can't tell you what to do with our money. Stay firm and involve all entities like OhioGal said file with the AG, the Banking and Insurance Commission, the FTC. If you are being frauded they have to protect you as a consumer even get the Office of Consumer Affairs and Protection involved!

My account is technically closed. They did allow me to close my account but they said they will allow any direct debits to my account for 30 days. So these payday loan companies will still be able to post to my closed account.

Are all of these payday loan companies that I have illegal? I only have to pay the principal for all 4 payday loans I have right? Does anyone have any experience paying these companies back? Will they allow me to only pay them 50 dollars every two weeks instead of the amounts that they want me to pay? Any help is greatly appreciated, thank you for getting back to me.

You can give them your terms, your bank shoudl not be allowing direct debits to still be coming out if the accoutn is technically closed they should check to see fi you have anything pending and close it all together. That just doesn't sound right to me. You need to take your complaint a little further up the totem pole and go above the branch managers head all bosses have a boss unless they are the owner. I saw where you were given some additional contacts for the bank I would utilize them. Some companies will allow you to set up a payment plan make sure they give you a physical address don't give them anyting with your new bank info on it I would do a prepaid debit card or a money order. Ask them for their address and if they refuse then tell them No address means no payments. Who are the companies again?
