I have been following the great advice on this forum. Can someone direct me how to respond to this e-mail I received from PDL Support. She sent it right after I spoke to her. She said that she was calling for VIP Loan Shop. It was a $400 and I paid $360 in finance charges.
I respect a consumer who researches the services to which he/she uses. With that being said when you applied for and agreed to the terms of the loan it would have behooved you to read the complete contract you were agreeing to. You are a citizen of the state of New York; however the contract was not made in the state of New York. The contract was completed via the World Wide Web; the governing law (clearly outlined in your contract) which you agreed to by your legal e-signature is based in the isle and providence of Nevis West Indies Bahamas. With all the information at hand I am still willing to work out arrangements for the balance that is still owed on your account. You may contact our offices 8am-5pm CST Monday-Friday. Our toll free phone # is 1-866-722.2770. You must contact our Collections Department as soon as possible. while i'm glad you respect my research.i don't respect someone who has to try and twist the facts.bsaically unless you plan on extraditing me to the bahamas NY state law prevails and i only owe 40.00.go ahead give it to a bottomfeeder.since pdl's are illegal(especially one not based in the US)no collector has a chance of getting more than the 40.00.so go for it.btw i am filing a NY AG complaint anyway.
