Won Motion To Transfer Action, is case dead until Plaintiff pays fees?

I won my Motion to Transfer Action.
What does this mean for the current case? Is it 'closed' and they have to start over in my county?
Or, if they pay the fees in the new county, does the case just continue? Or is just like starting over from square one?
What happens to the timing of Discovery and such if somewhere in the middle there was a time period including a Transfer?
Thanks!

As far as I know, your current case will be "closed" and will start all over again in your county court. However, you can contact your county court clerk and he will better assist you in this matter.

Yeah, it is always better to get a free consultation from on attorney on such matters. In most of the jurisdictions and county???s, the laws vary. So, even if it is known that with the ???Motion to Transfer Action???, this case is going to close, it is better to consult an attorney.
CACH action 9 months later
So 9 months after successfully transferring the case, CACH finally put in a Request for Trial date.
So now working on a Crosscomplaint.
Question: The wording of the request is "....be set for court trial 60 days out from Order to Show cause hearing date."
There isn't yet an order to show cause hearing date. So does this request:
A. create a show cause hearing, and later a trial date will be set now, or
B. Cause a judge to set a trial date now -and- a show cause hearing date, or
C. Neither A or B since there's been no request to set a Show Cause hearing?
I'm just assuming that this request was actually entered into the court...we'll see.
