I've read contradicting information on whether or not online payday loans are illegal in MS.I have three loans out, Ameriloanm,BigSky Cash, and UnitedCashLoans. I want to get them paid off and out of my life. Can anyone help?

You should contact with the Mississippi Department of Banking and Consumer Finance in order to know whether or not pdl companies are licensed in your state. Their contact detail is as follows:
# Address - 901 Woolfolk Building, Suite A 501 N. West Street Jackson MS 39201
# Phone - (601) 359-1031
# Fax - (601) 359-3557

If the lenders are not licensed, then you can get rid of the debts by paying them only the principal amount. If you have paid them more than the principal, then ask them for the refund. Illegal lenders can???t take any legal action against you. Close your bank account asap to stop unauthorized withdrawal.

if a lender is licensed then it's legal.i can state that all are "tribal"meaning illegal, and ameriloan and united cash are MTE and affiliated.that being said you only owe the principle and anything debited gets deducted from that example:

you borrow 300.00 from ameriloan.they debit 90.00 three times.you obly owe 30.00 on this.now we need the following.

1)how much was borrowed from each lender and
2)how much was debited thus far

you must close your account asap and open a new one.cut off access to your money as these places will debit forever if you allow it,and by keeping that account open you are allowing it.please close your account and provide the info requested.we can help further from there.

I talked to the MS Dept of Banking and Consumer Finance and they confirmed that none of the pdl's are licensed in the state of MS.
BigSky Cash owe $400 paid $310 in fees
Ameriloan owe $300 paid $180 in fees
United Cash Loan owe $200 havent paid any yet

here is what you owe as of now.

great sky 90.00
ameriloan 120.00
united cash 200.00

these places will debit forever if you allow it.go to the stick titled(dealing with illegal lenders)at the top of the paydayloan help forum.it has all you need from every step to template letters.do not skip steps.the first being to close your current account and open a new one.do not send the letters in the sticky until this is done.see a manager at your bank for this, and nobody else.pay them only when they agree that those amounts are what you owe.do that and keep us posted.

I closed my account and opened another one. I then sent letters to all three companies. BigSky Cash sent this in return:

Thank you for your email regarding your loan with Big Sky Cash. We are happy to clarify the non-application of your State???s law to your loan with Big Sky Cash.
In your application for a loan, and in the Loan Agreement that you signed with Big Sky Cash, it is clearly noted that the terms of your loan are governed by the laws of the Cheyenne River Sioux Tribe. Big Sky Cash is not located in your state, and is not subject to its laws in any way.
AS per loan documents state:

???This Loan Contract is subject solely to the exclusive laws and jurisdiction of the Cheyenne River Sioux Tribe, Cheyenne River Indian Reservation. By utilizing our website, you are conducting business on the Cheyenne River Indian Reservation, and subjecting yourself exclusively to the laws and jurisdiction of the Cheyenne River Sioux tribe, a sovereign Native American Nation. By executing this Loan Contract, you, the borrower, hereby acknowledge and consent to be bound to the terms of this Loan Contract, consent to the sole subject matter and personal jurisdiction of the Cheyenne River Sioux Tribal Court, and further agree that no other state or federal law or regulation shall apply to this Loan Contract, its enforcement or interpretation.???

I haven't heard from UnitedCashLoans or Ameriloans. Wondering what I need to do next.

first you laugh as that is a joke, and it doesn't mean anything.then if you haven't filed the AG complaints yet do so.they are illegal in every state and that is their first "form letter"response.again illegal as LLL and they know it.as long as you follow the sticky they can't do anything except be stupid with their deluded assertions.
