I am in a desperate financial situation right now and I dont know how to get out of it.
I have the following 3 PDL payments due on 10/31 (I am in NY):
zip19 - $287.95 (originally borrowed 240)
plaingreenloans - $114.83 (originally borrowed 600)
paydayloanmax - $67.06 (originally borrowed 340, 2nd time extending and not paying full amount)
Zip19 and PGL dont have options to extend or lower the amount. I have other payments due on the 31st that I can not extend (lendingclub and prosper) as well as credit cards that would probably allow me extend till my next pay period. I am getting $800 on the 31st but it is not enough to cover everything. I cant believe I got myself into this mess and I am desperate. I have nobody to turn to for help paying these off. Do I have any options?

This is easy...PDL's in NY state are ILLEGAL!!! On top of that Zip 19 is offshore and Plain Green is a tribal loan which makes it illegal.

Close your bank account NOW. Revoke any and all voluntary wage assignments you might have signed. Email all of them.... make sure you give a copy to your payroll department.

Dear Illegal PDL...
I hereby revoke any and all voluntary wages assignments I might have signed for account #............................

You only owe the principal balance. No fees, no interest. DO NOT LISTEN TO WHAT THEY SAY!! You are bound by NY state law only...not their laws. They cannot sue you...they are ILLEGAL!!!

Ok so I closed my bank account and notified the pdls. The bank told my account was closed but it may take a few days and sure enough when I looked today, the pdls transactions went through and now there is a huge negative balance in my account. What do I do?

The transactions are no longer pending and already went through. I am scared the bank will hold me responsible for this.
