Firstsource Advantage driving me crazy

A little over a year ago, I purchased a house (cash sale, no mortgage) which had been turned over to Fannie Mae by Citibank.
Because I was moving from another state, I used my parents address (near my new home) as my mailing address for the transaction paperwork.
In Sept of last year, I received and paid in full my property tax bill (about $5k).
This year, Firstsource began caling my parents home, my home and my cell phone regarding an unspecified debt. I pulled my credit report to find a "new" account opened in Feb (which I did not have any knowledge of!) to the tune of $5700 with Firstsource.
This Sept, my property tax bill did not arrive (taxes are due at end of Oct). I contacted the tax assessors office; they claimed the bill had been mailed. I went to the tax assessors office in person to get a new copy of the bill, thinking the original may have been lost in the mail. Imagine my amazement when I found they had sent the tax bill to "my" mortgage company, Citibank!
Apparently, my tax account has been coded ever since I purchased the property as being a mortgaged property, although I have title insurance AND have the title to the property! Additionally, it looks as if they collected taxes on the house last year not only from me, but also from Citibank...and this resulted in the Firstsource Advantage "new account" with a balance equal to my last years tax plus fees.
Firstsource continues to call up to five or six times a day. I've explained this is not a valid debt; was sent a threatening letter by certified mail from their "lawyer". My home is covered under homestead exemption laws, thankfully.
What can I do to get them to understand this is a horrendous paperwork error?

For starters, dispute the debt with the CA. Get them off your back....they do not need to be in the loop. Send them a copy of your paid tax receipt for that year.
The tax assessor needs to fix this problem between themselves and citibank. Citibank IMHO needs to fix their books too...they paid a bill on a property they have no mortgage on.
