I just received a call from Mr. Green (Recovery Department) Advance Me Today, 888-408-9716.

And stated the following: He will file a complaint against with the Federal Trade Commission, and will call my employer’s IT department, and report my activities as fraudulent! Based upon the fact, that my employer IP’s address is health system! And that utilizing a health system’s IP, and not paying for the loan is fraud! (I live in fear that they “call” my employer!)

After that he will start calling my references, and ask them about me, etc!

I did the following: (like a moron) I have give my Navy Federal C.U. debit call number, and only permitted a $50.00 dollar debit!

Then I called, Navy Federal and said: I need to replace my debit card! And explained why!

I did call the Federal Trade Commission and filed a complaint against Advance Me Today!

You need to file a police report for their extortion attempt. Use the number they called you from to file the complaint. You should never have given them anything.

Let your employer and your references know that someone has tried to steal your identitiy and they are to simply hang up if this person calls. You can give your employer a copy of the police report.

They're just trying to scare you into paying them. Don't even pick up the phone when they call.

I won, (sort of???..)

1-I filed a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission. (against Advance Me Today)

2-Surprisingly, ???the collector??? assigned to my account, only withdrawn $50.00 dollars from my account, as he surprised. I agreed to a repayment schedule of $100.00 dollars, each pay period for the principal amount only! No interest!

3-Now that-the payment schedule has been set-up the telephones calls have finally stopped!

4-I did ask the collector Mr. Green the following: if payday loans are legal Pennsylvania, and ???his company??? Advance Me Today is licensed in Pennsylvania!

Why does the Pennsylvania Attorney General, Pennsylvania Banking Commission, say that payday loans are illegal in Pennsylvania, and additionally claims that Advance Me Today is not licensed in Pennsylvania!

Surprisingly he had no response to that question!
