my bank told me the same thing I had to close my account and open a new one

Well I cant close my account since I have a credit card balance. I told my bank that I was going to write a letter to the payday loan companies. But they told me I had to file a police report first.

You have been a victim of fraud. I sent you a mesaage with the NJ laws and the websites you have to utilize to file your complaints. Like I told you don't re-loan with these people they are crooks and illegal. I also sent you the link to the NJ Banking and Insurance Commission you can file a complaint against your bank there as well. I think once you take them the necessary documents and also print out a copy of the payday loan laws for NJ and show them that these matters are totally illegal they would have to do something to protect their customers best interest!

Don???t you have the option to transfer the balance from this account to another credit card account? If there is, you can do that and close down this account.

I had an additional loan on my account I got it transferred to my new account, I hesitated to close it for a few months, but it turned out to be no big deal. I don't know if i would be the same on credit card though.
