FIA/Prudential Insurance credit card

I thought this one would be easy since it was serviced by Fia but now I don't know.
My wife had a Prudential credit card with an $8k bal serviced by FIA that we last made a payment in Sept 2011. After 30 days they sent it to a collection agency Encore. Any recent dealings with Encore, I know it's still early for settlement, just want to know what i'm up against.
I have a BOA card that is 60 days past due and am hoping to get 20-30% when the time is right, the bal is $18k, we'll see.

As you probably know, FIA is the credit card servicing division of Bank of America. Sometimes Bank of America sends its early delinquencies to Encore (as well as other collection agencies) as a scare tactic. This has nothing to do with the outcome of your end result. As you said yourself, it's early. No need to worry - the account will go back to FIA/Bank of America within 30 days.
Marie, you were exactly right. Encore called only 30 days, now
Marie, you were exactly right. Encore called only 30 days, now FIA has resumed their own efforts again. Will talk to them after 120 days late. Thanks
Cap one has informed us that our account will be with their hardship/recovery dept for 6 additional months from the date of charge off which was last month. I am pleasantly surprised.
Anyone know how long after charge off I can get to 40-50% with them? I really can't do more, it will affect too many future settlements.
Ok, so this went from FIA to Encore for 30 days, back to FIA an
Ok, so this went from FIA to Encore for 30 days, back to FIA and now to First Source Advantage. The card is 120 days late (150 days from last payment).
Marie, do you think it will again be sent back to FIA? I was hoping to begin negotiations with them in another 30 days or so, or should I see what First Source has to say.
Thanks
