SOL & Mortgage

I have a question regarding statute of limitations and I apologize if this has been addressed already.
I have 2 entries on my credit report. Both are well past the statute of limitations but have not fallen off my report yet.The "date updated" keeps reporting to a more current date, however. But the date it will be removed from my credit report has not changed, thankfully.
I recently went and applied for a mortgage but have to have these taken care of before we can proceed. I did send each of them the DV letter and adding that the debt was well pass the SOL. One debt collector actually wrote back but only to say that their company received it on such & such date and that they were still within the law. But the original creditor reported date of last payment 6 months prior.
Do I actually have to do a pay for delete for these? How do I go about taking care of these, without restarting SOL?

What state are you in? What was the date of your payment? Type of debt and the creditor?

I live in NH. The statute of limitations is 3 years here, unless it's promissory notes then it's 6.
The type of debt is medical (CTech) from 2007. How does medical debt determine the date of last payment, when I never received a bill for this service? I had no idea about this one until the bank pulled my credit report. On my report it shows a date placed for collections which the debt collector says was also the date of service. But the year to be removed from my credit report is for a month prior.
And finally, a credit card (that has been sold to Enhanced Recovery.) Last payment 5/2007.
The SOL for suing is past but they can legally report for 7 year
The SOL for suing is past but they can legally report for 7 years from the date of last activity....so you have about another 3 years that they can legally report for.
As for paid for delete, well they are very rare. So dont hold your breath.
