I wrote the letter per this website to National Cash Lenders after finding out they are not licensed in Tennessee and are illegal. This was the response. What or how do I respond?

Thank you!!

I am unhappy to hear that you feel our service to you in your time of need
was unfruitful. We strive everyday to do a great job in servicing our
customers so that they will be able to make ends meet when they feel they
have no hope.

I understand that you feel this loan you have agreed and accepted the terms and conditions to is Illegal. I want to remind you that you have signed a legal document stating that you have researched the laws in your state of residence and agree that you are within your rights of your state of residence. If, in fact, you are now telling me that you fraudulently
falsified your application with our company, then you are at risk of
committing internet commerce banking fraud.

I understand that times can be very challenging but your threats are not
well received. I will be happy to set up a loan modification agreement
where all future fees are stopped and you will incur no additional cost from this date forward. You have signed a LEGAL and binding contract and you will be best served to accept my offer to only collect your outstanding balance with no additional fees or cost. This can be arranged in payments that are affordable and reasonable. You can contact our collections manager Tina and set up an arrangement at tina@nationalcashlenders.com.

If you feel we did not provide a great service to you when you needed us,
then I would like to hear that rather than an attempt to escape your
financial obligation. Credit is very hard to obtain these days and this type
of action will not be favorable to you as we will have to report to all
agency's your decision not to pay as agreed.

In closing, I want to stress that our intention is to help you in your time
of need. Our fees would be lower for ALL our customers if we did not deal with this type of account on a daily basis. The legal/collection process is not a profit center for our business and that cost, unfortunately, is passed to the consumer. Please be proactive and inform me of your decision to accept this offer so that we know what direction we will need to take in dealing with your account.

Sincerely,
Adrian Berryhill

President
National Cash Lenders

"then you are at risk of committing internet commerce banking fraud."

The above statement implies a criminal offense...which in my mind is a big no no. Debts are civil, not criminal...a copy of this letter should be sent to reporting authorities. It is not up to the consumer to research legalities....they should not be selling a product in a state they cannot legally sell.

Stick to your guns....if the loan is illegal, then it is illegal.

this is the supposed president of this most illegal lender.geez his email is indictative of this bottomfeeders total disregard for anything.this humanoid also made a few other blunders in their idiotic response.

1)there was no credit check involved and they don't report on your credit, and aren't really allowed to.
2)the standoffish verbage tells me all i need to know as the terms"dodge your responsibilities"and "your threats".humanoids count the truth as threats laughable.
3)to echo soaplady this moron basically stated you are at fault, and you commited a crime.that is a crime itself.

respond this way.

your response is noted and it is a joke.it is not up to me to go over your credentials with a microscope.furthermore you mentioned credit.really?you didn't check my credit nor do you report on my credit now.last thing.your email is being forwarded to my AG and the FTC as part of a complaint i am now filing since you stupidly implied i commited some crime which i did not.i trust my position is clear here.

do that and file the complaints.you can file with the FTC online.www.ftc.gov is how you file.
