I've been tangled up in this loan with Payday Max for a while now... I would get a loan, then pay it back in full & get a new loan same day to get a few weeks break of having payments. I know payday loans are just a trap... but when I took the loan, I really needed the cash and then got caught up in it with no way out.

Well, I had a loan due on 12/2. The week before, every day 2 times a day, I faxed Payday Max a letter asking them to stop the withdrawal on the loan (gave some lame story about bank account problems). Well, they either stopped the payment or since my bank was overdrawn already it just didn't go through.

I got into reading the fine print on my loan documents and it says that as long as I notify them 3 days before the loan is due, that I can stop the debit for the payment. So I had done that and literally used a free online fax site 2 times a day to fax them a letter about it. I never got a call, never got an email, and my bank account was never touched.

After yesterday I noticed that the clause on the loan (in very fine print) said that I could revoke the ACH authorization, I faxed them 3 times since then the original letter sent and another letter stating that the ACH authorization is revoked. I faxed it to the fax number in my loan agreement, the loan agreement specifically says to fax it to that number, which I did.

Now, though, my bank account is in the positive and I've received a call tonight from Credit Protection Depot regarding this, they left a nice message, just asking me to call regarding my Payday Max loan. It wasn't mean or threatening, just a simple please call us message.

So now though I'm worried, before my bank account was in the negative, there was no way an ACH would go through because I was $25 away from my overdraft limit, so it'd be returned if it tried to go through. I'm just worried that in the AM, where I have money in my account that this will go through and take the money I have and put me in the negative.

Has anyone revoked ACH authorization to Payday Max and Credit Protection Depot and had them continue to put the loan through? I followed their rules, I notified them more than 3 days before the loan was due that they couldn't take the ACH payment and once I say the clause in the loan agreement, I faxed them 2 times daily a letter specifically saying that I was revoking their ACH authorization. And just tonight I emailed Credit Protection Depot as well stating the ACH authorization was withdrawn as well.

I'm just curious if anyone has followed their rules, let them know 3 days in advance not to withdraw the money and had them still withdraw it? I mean, reading back through some old posts here, it looks like they have continue to withdraw money from people's accounts... I'm curious if there's any recent situations people had with them that they could offer some advice?

I plan to attempt to find an address to send a certified mail to them about this but for now I've faxed 2 times a day about this. I just really can't have them taking money out - I just got back on track. My bank previously a few years ago actually did put a stop on all ACH transactions for payday loans (no I didn't learn my lesson apparently back then), but they're so cranky about this stuff I hate going to them yet I dont' want to wake up one morning to have my money gone.....

Anyone with experiences with them??
