more issues with CC

Hi
I am replying to this thread again because I have more issues with Cashcall. As I noted in previous posts, I know they are illegal in MS. I haven't paid back my principle yet ($1000 - they say $1500 but they took $500 for their "fee"). In November they sent a Loan Mod Agreement lowering my interest rate to 47% (from 120%) and lowering payments to $94.54 from $167 defering until January. I faxed and mailed this back, perfectly willing to pay this until I reached my principle. Well in January when they started calling I was ready to set up and pay the new amount. They claimed 1. They never received my signed agreement (total lie) 2. Then the second "person" I spoke to said they received it but it was not signed. (bigger lie) 3. then they changed again and said they received it after the deadline.
I can't believe their bold faced attempts at deceit. I'm not sure how to proceed from here. I wish I had $1k to give them and cut them off, but I don't.
Would appreciate more advice from you guys. BTW- I received a PIF letter from Star Cash after my attorney general got involved. :D

You only owe the principal amount. This means you'll have to pay
You only owe the principal amount. This means you'll have to pay only $1000. You don't have to pay the interests or fees. The company is trying to scam you. Did you send the money via certified mail?
