I live in Indiana and wondered if anyone knew if I could file payday advances on a chapter seven bankruptcy.I have several payday loans out and these sharks continue to take money out and wont leave me alone.I dont even know ifthey are liscened in Indiana I want to pay but wow what a idiot I am.The companies in question are Multisource loan.com
cashcure .com
cash directexpress and american web
In addition, there are some companies that are calling being downright rude in everything can i file on them or can I get arrested or hassled if i do file? Any help is gladly accepted.

Thanks for your advice, would you advise against talking to these companies and letting them know I am filing or should I let them know. From what i have read and heard these places will start bugging me instantly.I already had a person call me saying I owed them money even before I got a loan, that stopped once I threatened them with the police. In addition,my bank knows but is keeping account open should I close?thanks in advance

Neither of your lenders are legal. I suggest closing your account. Also file complaints against them with the FTC and your state's Attorney General. Let your bankruptcy attorney know that they are offshore, unlicensed lenders but that you'd like to include them anyway.

Yes, close your checking account. Explain to the bank why you're doing it and ensure that nothing will reopen the account.

After the account is closed, then call the lenders and let them know you've closed your account and filed bankruptcy and you won't be paying them anything else. Tell them if they want to discuss it further they should call your attorney.

If they call you after that, just hang up.

I'm really happy with your answers one question that I have is can I get in legal trouble for closing my bank account even though I knowingly knew there were some more payday debits coming out.My bankruptcy meeting is Friday the 20th if that is any depth of how close we are to talking to the lawyer. The new debits will occur this Wednesday if I don't close any answers are really appreciated.Right now I can close my account with a positive credit.

print up the ACH revocation letter in the sticky titled (dealing with illegal lenders).print one for each pdl and go to your bank today and see a manager and get that account closed.do that today.

Thanks for all your advice I closed my account yesterday and have yet to hear from Multisource, Cashcure and Ameriwebloan but I will. One company Cash direct express had a collection company called Alliance asset Management called demanding $759 dollars right then i proceeded to tell them I didn't have it and that my bank had been compromised they didn't want to hear about it or take any payments and were very aggressive. When i told the lady named Marie that i couldn't make the payment she said i am sending you to legal and hung up a few minutes later another lady asked for me and I told her that Marie was sending me to legal and proceeded to ask her if this collection company was licensed in Indiana with no answer and i told her i needed to speak to my lawyer in the morning and she hung up and I have yet to hear from them as of this point.Do you think that this the right recourse and let these other companies know to speak to my lawyer?

you certainly do give your attorney's info.then you ignore this piece of bottomfeeding garbage.btw as stated none of your lenders including cash direct express are legal.therefore expect anybody calling to be a bottomfeeder.btw when you give them your attorney's number tell them not to call you at work again.do that and ignore/hang up on them.they can't/won't do squat anyway.just another bottomfeeder that needs to be ignored.
