Asset Acceptance LLC Charging for a close account of Victoria Secret

Hi. I am seen in my credit report that this guys are saying I owe them money. When I call them they said if I had no proof that I have closed my account with Victoria Secret then that I will loose and I have to pay them.
The only proof i have is that Victoria Secret stopped charging me the monthly fee of my subscription. From that day this guys are saying that they open me an account that I never opened. I don't even lived in USA.
What should I do? Shall I pay them or shall I file a dispute in my credit report?
