Not all people have time to purchase gifts in advance. What are some interesting last minute wallet-friendly Valentine’s Day gifts?

If you need to be careful with your spending then any holiday can be stressful. When money is tight we do not need another frivolous reason to spend our hard earned cash. Valentines Day is no exception. However, the message you may send to your sweetie by not buying something can be even worse. The best idea I've found is to go to a general or drug store and pick up 3 or four of the cheapest little holiday items they have. Then get one really nice card and a medium size bouquet of spring time flowers. A few days before Valentines place one of the smaller items where your loved one cannot miss it. They will love it and think it's cute. Do this each day for each small item. Then hand write a very personal note in the card and give her the flowers and the card on Valentines day. Your loved one will know you have been thinking about them all week and that is the best Valentine they could get.

Wallet-friendly Valentine's Day gifts? There are not too many things you can put in a wallet!!! CASH, CASH, CASH is always nice!!! A more romantic idea is to have personalized/or not wallet-sized lamanated sweet nothings on a small wallet card!!! Something to remember that special someone everytime you get in your wallet!!! I like this even better than cash, it means more!!! HAPPY VALENTINES DAY!!!!

Although no one has ever done this for me I would love for my husband to do the household chores before I get home from work, light candles all over, fill a bath with something that smells wonderful and wash my hair while I relax in the tub surrounded by candles and sipping a nice glass of wine. The cheapest most loving Valentines Gift I can think of.

Living Social, Groupon, and Amazon Local have some great gifts normally 50% or more off retail. Just this morning I was able to get a candy store coupon for $15, which has a $30 value. Also, look on Craigslist to find discounted gift cards, and either give them or purchase something with them at a discounted price.

I know it sounds kind of corny. My husband and I are really trying to get our finances in order so we decided not to buy anything. I made him coupons for different things (some of them would not be appropriate to post what they were for lol) And he made me my favorite dinner and then gave me a massage (and a promise to only massage).

Instead of buying for your loved one, show them by actions and deeds. Wash their car by hand, do their laundry...make them dinner. Let them control the remote! Simply tell them you love them!

If you must buy, check out stores after Valentines clearance sales. Stores like Michaels have 70%-80% off prices right now. Tuck a bunch of stuff away for next year.

If your Girlfriend/Boyfriend knows your current situation and if both of you really love each other, then a simple Rose is more than enough to express love and a beautiful wallet-friendly valentines day gift. You can also buy a beautiful kinda flower bouquet or a nice piece of artistic gift items rather than going for a costlier and heavier gadgets.
