I need help. I got a letter from Hunt & Henriquez threatening to sue me if I don't pay them the $20,000 they claim I owe on my Sears credit card.What if I'm unemployed with no money in the bank or any assets or whatnot for them to take even if they do take me to court? There really is not much for me to do because that's the situation I'm in at the moment. I can't even afford bankruptcy.

They can get a judgment and then sit and wait...most states a judgemnet is good for 10-20 years. Once they have it they can wait to garnish or levy your bank account.
