Will I ever get out of this payday loan hell?
Date: Sat, 02/11/2012 - 23:59
Hi again everyone,
please bear with me, this post is going to be long. I feel like I'm backed into a corner, and I don't know what else to do. I opened a new bank account, and have tried to work out things with different payday loan companies. I don't know why I don't have a lot of luck with illegal lenders when it comes to settling my debt, but a lot of companies won't settle for just the principle amount. I've already been told by some that my accounts are in collections and are about to be sent to a law office for further collections. I'm trying my hardest to pay these off... even some of the third party collection agencies won't set up a payment of 50 bucks a month because I get paid bi weekly. So what do I do? Below is a list of payday lenders/collection agencies that I have a a payment plan with.
Advance America
Check into Cash
Moneytree
Online Advance
NCA
Rapid Cash
PayDayOne
I'm almost done with NCA, and have paid off another one before this. This is what I'm worried about... My bank just reversed a provisonal credit, and now I'm negative in my account, and have to readjust all of my payment plans. I don't know what to do. I'm not trying to weasel my way out of repayment... stuff just happens. So how do I go about telling these people I have to change my payment schedule again?
Not to mention I have other illegal loans out there that I haven't heard from in a while For example:
Ideal Gelt
My Next Paycheck
Check n Go (Not illegal, but I haven't heard back from them since October)
Western Sky (Cash Call)
Not sure how to even go about Western Sky. I know living in Las Vegas Nevada Cash Call is illegal. They won't even let you look at their website if you live in Nevada. I also know western sky is illegal. All I know is I'm trying, I don't want to go to court, and I don't want to have any of my wages garnished. My family doesn't have extra cash, so I'm on my own. What do I do? Help!!! :( I mean even if a collection agency sends me to a law firm... can't I talk with them to work something out before they serve me???

Western Sky can't do any harm to you. They can't take any legal steps against you. Have you paid back the principal amount to them?

To make sure whether or not pdl companies are licensed in your state, you may contact with Nevada Financial Institutions Division. If they are licensed, then you will have to pay both principal and interest. In such a case you may enroll in a payday loan debt consolidation program. If they are licensed, then it will be better for you to get rid of this trap by repaying only the principal amount.
