Question about Wisconsin Online Loan Legality
Date: Tue, 02/14/2012 - 08:36
I have 4 loans that are questionable, and after reading the Wisconsin law, I am wondering what it means if a loan company "solicits" you.
Minute Funds - Solicited me out of the blue - I have already paid the principaql plus some.
Pay Day Loan Yes (Now sold to a new company) - Solicited me after I used a matching service. I have also paid them the principal plus some.
TIOR - Sent me an email after a loan matching service, I didn't answer, and the popped the money in my account anyway and sent me an agreement with my "electronic" signature.
Pack Customer Service- Called me after using a matching service.
I am pretty sure Minute Funds are done and I can withdraw my EFT. What about the others?
Thanks for your help!
You should only repay the principal balance on all of these loan
You should only repay the principal balance on all of these loans. They're all illegal and they all solicited you. Follow the steps in the link in my signature below.
Other questions
Thanks! I will be revoking the ACH 3 days before they are all due, then will contact them.
Here are some more questions I need to deal with:
Check n Go - Installment Loan at $665 a month (yikes) for 8 months for a $2000 loan! They won't reduce my payment. How do I work with them? If I can bring the Check n go Payment down, I can mange everything else.
Check n go and Speedy Cash are both CFSA members, but can you get an EPP with installment loans?
Cash Central said I need to be past due in order to do an EPP. I will have to revoke my ACH and go past due with them.
Any thoughts?
Thanks!
