I was just served papers at work by a sheriff saying that I have already been sued. I had no idea that this was going on or that there was a court date. Is there anything I can do at this point?

At first you should give a reply of the summons. You will have to present on the court hearing date. Otherwise the court will issue a judgment against you.

There is NO summons to answer...the court case has already occurred. If you cannot answer the question, DO NOT POST!!!
