Morasse, Collins and Clark/MCC Lawyers lawsuit

I emailed the lawyer that I had worked with to negotiate that to see if he would be willing to discuss a settlement of the balance and I received no reply. However, I found out from the county court's database that they have filed suit against myself and my husband. I have not been served but it says on the county court website "CLERK'S CERTIFICATE OF SERVICE BY MAIL (OUT OF PROCESS) GENERATED."
Have any of you had experience dealing with this organization? Do they offer settlements or just forge ahead with litigation? Also: should I file an answer right now or wait until I get other communications?

Nopes. I haven't worked with this organization in the past. I guess you'll be receiving the summons within the next few days. Make another attempt to settle the balance with them. If they are not interested in working out a settlement, then you'll have to fight the case in court.
