Nelly,
I'm trying to get a bill consolidation loan.
Can you provide me with the name of a couple of reputable online debt services so I can start the process? Thank you!

Several financial institutions offer debt consolidation loans to the consumers. There are 2 types of debt consolidation loans - secured and unsecured. In a secured loan, you'll have to pledge collateral against it. Most of the financial institutions don't like to lend more than $5000.

You can go through the following link to get a list of reliable debt relief companies:

What neither of the two above posters have explained is that a bill consolidation loan is not offered by a debt service or dmp. A bill consolidation loan is taken out thru a bank or credit union ...they cut you a check and you pay off your creditors. HOWEVER lenders are just not lending and those that are are only lending $4-$5k unsecured to those with excellent credit. An debt service does not give you money...you tell them who and how much you owe, they negotiate with your creditors and then you send them a payment each month which they then distribute to your creditors...for a fee of course.
