I'm in Ohio and have 4 PDL's.

Payday1 - $600, due to take $141 tomorrow (0 paid so far)
CashNet - $450, due to take $90 tomorrow (0 paid so far)
-----------> These 2 I will somehow find a way to pay, since they are legal from all I've read. I canceled my ACH withdrawals since my banks are currently negative, and hoping to get them to agree to an EPP (will I have any luck?), or have them send me to collections...instead of having them trying to debit my currently negative bank accounts!

CashCall (from WesternSky) - $1500, although they only deposited $1000 and kept $500 as a FEE - due to take $200 on 4/1 (0 paid so far)

PlainGreen - $700 deposited, 0 paid so far.

I've sent the "illegal" letter from OhioGal to CashCall and PlainGreen, since they are tribal.

Does it actually work? Will they agree to just let me pay the principal? Will they still try to debit my bank account? PlainGreen I know for sure got my request, since my account page says something along the lines of "flagged as invalid bank account - please call to setup another account".....If I don't call and setup an account or pay them via credit card by my due date (tomorrow), will they try to debit my bank anyways?

I guess my main question is on the CashCall and PlainGreen --- I've seen the advice from OhioGal, I've sent the letters, but I've not read anything here stating that they actually work or that they will leave you alone and agree to let you pay the principal back on your own timeframe/terms.

Thanks for any help!

I just got done dealing with Plain Green Loans, I sent out my letter to them, both fax and email and recieved a reply within a few days. Although they included I could check the legal terms of their loan, they didn't give me any hassle and stated in the letter they were considering my loan paid off and I would hear no more from them. I'm going to keep a eye on my credit report within the next few months just to make sure of things but so far so good.
