Hi! I am in need of some advice/guidance with my payday loans. I live in Michigan. I have already closed my bank account and opened a new one. Â*I have sent letters to all of my current payday loan companies. I have received a few responses that my accounts are paid in full. Â*But there are still a few that I'm having trouble with and am not sure where to go from here.

Â*My current unresolved loans are with:Â*
1. Sure Advance- received email stating that the loan originated in Delaware and they were not bound by Michigan or any other state laws.
2. Integrity Advance- received email asking for new banking info. Also, NUMEROUS phone calls to my home, work and various family members. Do I call them back?? And how to get the calls to stop?

I have not heard a response yet from the following:
US Fast Cash- when I log in it says my loan status is unavailableÂ*
Anasazi Group- cant access anything
Ameriloan- when I log in it says my loan status is unavailableÂ*
Idealgelt- status to collections

I have not taken any action with Cash Call...I'm not sure how to proceed with them because it's an installment loan.Â*

ANY help would be appreciated!!

You should immediately contact with Michigan Office of Financial and Insurance Services to make sure whether or not pdl companies are licensed in your state. If not, then you are required to pay them only the principal amount. Close your bank account asap. Ask them for the refund, if you have overpaid them. If they are licensed, then you will have to pay both the principal and interest. In this case you may get help from a debt relief company.

Lets get something straight first: US Fast Cash, Anasazi Group, Ameriloan are all illegal tribal lenders. You just need to pay back the principal. Nothing more, nothing less. Its a very smart thing that you did by closing your bank account and opening a new one. As a rule of thumb, make sure that the accounts are not linked in any way.

I can't tell you much about Sure Advance since I have never dealt with them in any way. Integrity Advance on the other hand doesn't have a license to operate in the state of Michigan. In fact they are illegal in almost all the states except for Tennessee.

CashCall is also an illegal PDL.

Go through this link and you will have a fair idea about how to deal with illegal lenders: http://www.debtconsolidationcare.com/paydayloan/dealingwith-illegallenders.html
