Is it OK to do a payment over the phone via a checking account or should I send a cashiers check?
I will be getting Settled status per the doc on my credit report. Is that OK?
Now to talk with Chase with 15 days left to charge off and see what Citi has in store for me with prelitigation.

With the settlement agreement letter in your hand, you will be fine doing the payment over the phone. Once the check has cleared, make a copy of it, staple it to your settlement agreement and put it in a safe place.

I am allowing them to draft my checking acct, first payment went through without any funny business.

On mine #8 states they will report as "settled with an outstanding balance", does yours?
On the front of mine it does state settled.
