I followed the advice here on this forum and in response to my original thread and have had AMAZING results. Those others having issues with Payday Loans - read the forum and use the advice given here - it works! Stand your ground, do what they tell you and don't be afraid!!!!

I sent cease and desist letters in regards to all of my loans and the phone calls have stopped!!!!!!!!!!!! Anythign that is now junk calls I place in my address book and set to go automatically to voice mail - my phone doesn't ring and very few leave messages!

Of the 3 illegal loans I had Anasazi Group - they have sent my account to a colelction agency - would not even talk to me - the response to my email was that yes I was a citizen of TX but it would have behooved me to have read the contract that e-signature stated that I would be governered by the laws of I believe Delaware. I call BS. I gave them cease and desist orders twice and told them twice I have filed a claim/complaint with the AG, Banking and Finance, and Consumer Credit Commission. Haven't heard anything today but waiting. Have overpaid them by $40

Loan Shop Online - basically same message via email about teh contract - my same message back to them - nothing today. I have overpaid them by $40

Jet Lending - AWESOME company to work with! However, I am not dropping my hands until I get the accoutn paid in full letter from them. They gave me the same statement about the contract but they agreed to consider my account in full if I woudl drop my claims buty no refund - I have overpaid them by $150. I really don't care about the refund - just want it settled. I told them I would agree but I wanted the letter first and then I would rescind the complaint. Haven't heard back form them.

Of the 2 that were CSO and Legal in Texas - both were very professional and genuine. I was very upfront and proactive with both.

Cashnet USA did not charge me any additional fees - just he original loan and the one finance/service fee that I agreed to and broke my payments over the next 5 pay periods. This will be paid off correctly by the end of May!

Speedy Cash - again very nice - no payment arrangements but did agree to not charge late fees and to allow me to refinance without penalty. I can easily pay this one off now that the illegal ones are out of my hair. It will be paid off in 3 pay periods!!!!!
