Yes, Think Cash is legal in Michigan. But, it is not a payday loan. Actually, it is an installment loan.

I suggest you call up the creditor and try negotiating a settlement with them and see if they will agree to a payment plan stretched over an extended period of time.

First, the information you've been given previously is incorrect.

ThinkCash is a tribal lender (now PlainGreen) and is NOT legal in any state in the U.S.

You can follow the same steps for illegal PDLs (in my signature link) citing the fact that they are tribal, therefore your contract is not legally binding unless you are a member of their tribe, which you're not.

it depends on when in 2009 as think cash was still FBD until the second half of 2009.so it will depend on when in 2009 the loan was procured.

I assumed that since the poster said the loan was with ThinkCash that it was with ThihnkCash and not FBD.

FBD(first bank of delaware)funded alot of loans.think cash was one of them,and they were legal.they got out of the loan,cc business completely by the end of 2009.plain green just took it over.any think cash going by plain green is illegal.
