So I borrowed back in 2009-I live in Michigan. I am having a hard time seeing if they legal in Michigan-I know they arent really a payday loan. They are showing on my credit report for $1700. Are they legal in Michigan? Any luck on settling with them? Thanks!

I'd like to apologize for not seeing this post sooner.

First, the information you've been given previously is incorrect.

ThinkCash is a tribal lender (now PlainGreen) and is NOT legal in any state in the U.S.

You can follow the same steps for illegal PDLs (in my signature link) citing the fact that they are tribal, therefore your contract is not legally binding unless you are a member of their tribe, which you're not.

it depends on when in 2009 as think cash was still FBD until the second half of 2009.so it will depend on when in 2009 the loan was procured.

FBD(first bank of delaware)funded alot of loans.think cash was one of them, and they were legal.they got out of the loan,cc business completely by the end of 2009.plain green just took it over.any think cash going by plain green is illegal.
