I wanted to share with the forum that LoanPointUSA has agreed to refund me $3500 and send me a PIF notice. It took me over a year and many emails to finally get them to give me the refund but they folded in the end when they found out that I was going to file a law suit against them. I can not thank all of you on this forum enough for all the advice and help that you gave me to get out of the payday loan nightmare.


Did you just suggest to them that you were going to sue them or did you have an attorney involved?

I had just started looking for a lawyer when they decided to work with me. I think they knew I was going to go through with the law suit after I had threatened to file a second round of complaints with the AG, FOFR and the FTC, and then followed through with the threat and opened all the new complaints. So once I told them that the new round of complaints had been filed and that I was going to hire lawyer they started calling me to work out a deal.
