Unable to pay payday loan

I am a single parent and have a payday loan. I can barely pay it and when I tell them that they say I will have to refinance which makes me owe more and more money. I am in the state of nc where it is not legal, so I travel to south carolina every other week to make a payment. I can barely buy food or pay bills because they take the majority of my already small check. Any suggestions?

What you need to do is go into the store and ask for an extended payment plan. Tell them you want to take your balance due and divide it into 4 equal payments due over the next 4 pay dates.
If the store won't cooperate, call their corporate offices.
